On December 21st 2010 four writers fresh from National Novel Writing Month met to form a new writing group called Writebulb. The rest, as they say, is history.


January - logo created and first public meeting at Chelmsford Central Library

March - invited to Essex Book Festival launch and interviewed by Dave Monk, BBC Essex; indie author Penelope Fletcher gives a talk on her journey to successful self-publication; Kate Tenbeth (Writebulb member) indie publishes her first children's book

May - crime author Bruce Kennedy Jones gives a talk on his experiences in both research and the journey to publication

July - Writebulb member Kate Tenbeth indie publishes her second children's book

August - Writebulb member Stuart Wakefield indie publishes his first novel

September -   Jane Lomas (Writebulb co-founder) takes the post of Chair of the Friends of Essex Book Festival; gay romance author Zahra Owens gives a talk on her journey to publication

November - Writebulb 2012 Anthology announced


January - New year, new format
