The Demon Girl

If you came to the Writebulb meeting last Saturday, you will already know that Penelope Fletcher, she of the Demon Girl fame, is coming to speak to the group at our next meeting on 12 March 2011.
I am a big fan of her work and this is coming from someone who before Demon Girl, hardly read fantasy. There are demons, shifters, were-creatures, fairies and yes the inevitable vampire in her work. I know this is not everyone’s cup of tea, but I would encourage anyone to read it, whatever your age.
It was such a fun and amusing book that I would bombard poor Stuart with text messages, yelping with delight, at some very ungodly hours of the night simply because I couldn’t put it down. It definitely kept me up past my bedtime.
I thought I should let you know where to find the book, the first in a series, and hope that you love Rae Wilder as much as I did.
It’s a free download on Amazon (click here for page) and is also available from other ebook websites (please see links below). If you do not have e-reading device, don’t let that stop you, download the free Kindle app here, for your computer or smartphone and get reading.
If you are not digitally inclined, don’t despair! I am informed that there is a print version coming out shortly.
Remember to send us the questions you would like to ask Penelope Fletcher on the day.
Happy reading and hope to see you at our next meeting!

Light on, write on.

P.S Please remember to spread the word if you love her work.
